Data protection
Privacy policy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
HoriCast places particular importance on the protection of personal data. This policy explains which data we collect, for what purpose, how long we retain it and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
The data controller is:
- HoriCast · EURL with share capital of €3,000
- 29 rue Tronchet, 75008 Paris, France
- SIREN: 102 272 077
- Represented by Christophe Mahoux, Managing Director
- Email: contact@horicast.com
2. Data collected
We only collect the data you voluntarily provide, through one of the two forms on this site.
Contact form:
- First and last name
- Professional email address
- Company and role (optional)
- Message content
mimoLive reseller application form:
- Company details: registered name, trading name, country, website and other public presence
- Business contact: first and last name, role, work email, phone (optional)
- Business profile: what the company does, markets served, solutions and services offered, live production software in use
- Free-text answers describing the company, its interest in mimoLive and its current technical ecosystem
Postal address and VAT number are not asked for at this stage: they play no part in qualifying an application and are only collected once it has been accepted, to open the account administratively.
No sensitive data is collected (political opinions, health, orientation, biometric data, etc.).
3. Purposes and legal basis
Contact form: respond to business and technical enquiries and follow up on the professional exchanges that may result. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6.1.f), conducting B2B commercial activities initiated by the data subject.
mimoLive reseller application: receive and qualify a request to open a reseller account and, where the application is taken forward, present it to the publisher Boinx Software International GmbH, which alone decides whether to open the account. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at the data subject's request (GDPR Article 6.1.b), the process being initiated by the applicant and the transfer to the publisher being necessary to act on it.
HoriCast is not the party that opens the reseller account: it identifies and introduces candidates, while the publisher validates and contracts. Each is a controller for what it carries out. Once an application has been passed on, the processing performed by Boinx Software International GmbH falls under its own privacy policy.
The tick box on the application form is an acknowledgement of that transfer, not consent under Article 6.1.a: the transfer is necessary to act on the request, so it cannot be declined while keeping the application alive.
4. Data recipients
The collected data is processed by:
- HoriCast (internal team, authorised to handle business enquiries)
- Resend, Inc. · transactional email service, data processor under GDPR (USA)
- Cloudflare, Inc. · website hosting provider and Turnstile anti-bot service, data processor under GDPR (USA)
- Boinx Software International GmbH (Germany) · publisher of mimoLive, recipient of reseller applications that HoriCast takes forward, in order to review the application and open the account. No contact form data is passed to them.
No data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
5. Retention period
- Contact form data: 3 years from last contact
- Reseller application not taken forward: 3 years from last contact
- Reseller application accepted: the data joins the business relationship and follows its duration, then legal archiving
- Professional email exchanges: duration of the business relationship, followed by legal archiving
- Server logs (Cloudflare): 30 days maximum
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Our processors Resend and Cloudflare may process data from the United States. These transfers are covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) adopted by the European Commission, providing a level of protection equivalent to that required by GDPR.
7. Cookies and trackers
This site does not use any cookies.
Visit statistics (page views, referrers, device) are handled by Plausible Community Edition, a self-hosted solution on HoriCast infrastructure, GDPR-compliant by design: no cookies set, no personal data collected, no profiling performed. Collected data is anonymous and aggregated.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16)
- Right to erasure · "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20)
- Right to object (Art. 21)
To exercise these rights, contact us at: contact@horicast.com.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority:
- CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés)
- 3 place de Fontenoy · TSA 80715
