For AV resellers and integrators across France and the Benelux
mimoLive, professional live production on Mac
One application to handle sources, graphics, recording and streaming, with a small team.
Under its agreement with Boinx Software, HoriCast builds and supports the mimoLive reseller and integrator network across France and the Benelux.
Camera, screen and remote guest sources feed mimoLive on a Mac, which outputs a stream, a recording and a display feed.
Sources it takes in
- NDI®
- SDI
- HDMI
- USB
- Network sources
- Remote guests
SDI and HDMI arrive through a compatible capture interface rather than plugging straight into the Mac.
Why carry mimoLive
A genuinely different option on Mac
Few professional software control rooms target macOS. mimoLive fills a slot your customers will not find in a Windows catalogue, on machines already sitting in studios, schools and communications teams.
A B2B offer built for professional projects
In addition to the terms available through the online store, three- and five-year licences and multi-seat options are available on request for professional customers. These options are particularly suited to businesses, educational institutions and organisations planning their investment over several years.
Whole projects, not just a licence
mimoLive becomes the software core of a solution you put together: cameras, video interfaces, audio, control, networking and integration work all assemble around the licence.
Several markets, one platform to learn
Corporate, education, events, public bodies, local media: one product to master, very different customers to reach.

mimoLive at a glance
A full control room on one Mac
Switching, graphics, recording, streaming and multiview in the same application, with no rack and no dedicated hardware switcher.
Video sources without a locked-in ecosystem
Mix NDI® cameras, SDI or HDMI feeds brought in through compatible capture interfaces, USB devices, screen capture and remote guests inside the same production.
Productions a small team can run
Automation, PTZ control and browser-based control surfaces let a non-technical operator run the show.
Graphics you can shape
Titles, scoreboards, animated backgrounds and control panels adapt to each production, down to a custom-built layer.

- Graphics
- Streaming
- Recording
- Remote guests
- Automation
A wide range of markets
Organisations want productions that are more compact, more automated and workable with fewer people. That is exactly mimoLive's ground, and as many projects to build around the licence.
- Corporate studios In-house studios, webinars, internal communication and training.
- Education and training Lectures, student studios and self-service production rooms.
- Events and hybrid production Multi-camera capture, remote speakers and live streaming.
- Podcasts and web shows Graphics, remote guests and isolated recording of each source.
- Public bodies and institutions Council meetings, assemblies and recurring sessions with an automated run of show.
- Visual radio and local broadcast Graphics, multiview and integration into an existing SDI chain.
Example: a compact NDI® workflow
Of the architectures mimoLive supports, an all-NDI® one gives the most compact control room: video, control and return feeds share a single Ethernet infrastructure. It is one option among several, not a prerequisite.
BirdDog cameras illustrate that setup: video and PTZ control travel over the network to the Mac, which cuts, adds graphics, records and streams. An existing SDI or HDMI estate connects to the same Mac through a capture interface.
A four-step chain: NDI® cameras, then Ethernet network, then Mac running mimoLive, then Streaming, recording, displays.
